To Lucy,
Thank you for everything you have done for both me & Pembroke Academy. The Chamber Players course was an amazing opportunity for me to improve my playing skills and also to socialise with other young musicians. It was held in All Saint's Church in West Dulwich. The venue was perfect as it had a number of rooms available for us to play in. I met loads of incredibly talented musicians during the course and had made friends with some of them. I was shy at first not knowing what was going to happen but as the days go, I had felt more confident and knew that I wanted to continue. The tutors there were very helpful and friendly to everyone. I had learnt alot from not only the tutors but also David Murdoch the violin maker/dealer who came in the lunch hour and taught as about the history of violins. I was also inspired by the impressive quartet Stringfever, which the course have allowed us to see their concert. I have had the most enjoyable experience on the course and would love to share them with others.
Thank you.
Lisa, aged 14
Dear Lucy
Thank you so much for organising Chamber Players. Emilia and Clem had a brilliant week, which really boosted their confidence and their chamber music skills. They both thoroughly enjoyed their coaching sessions; Emilia said how good it was to study the same music with different tutors each day, as it gave her so many fresh ideas to think about. I have noticed that her sound seems bigger suddenly; I think she is more aware of projecting her sound now. And Clem's sight reading is so much more secure and "down to business"this week. Clem was very excited about Stringfever, and has been listening to the CD ever since. Please pass out thanks on to all the tutors, and our best wishes to you.
Thank you,
Sarah (mum), Emilia aged 10 and Clem aged 8
Dear Lucy
Please pass on our thanks to all the Chamber Players who took part in the terrific performances on Saturday. Your music gave pleasure to so many people.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to be involved in the Chamber Players music course for young musicians. One could see from the reaction of the participants what an enjoyable and invaluable experience this was. During the intensive week of tuition, there was a real sense of achievement and progression, but the fun of making music together was always evident. The final concert was a celebration of everything that had been experienced and attained.
